About the Role
Pod-Trak is seeking OLE Field Engineers to work on Northern and Southern existing, and upcoming, projects. This is a unique opportunity to work with main contractors on OLE Frameworks across the UK.
Key responsibilities
- To apply project documentation such as Engineering Management Plan, Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plans etc
- To liaise with designers to advise constructability and to review designs once issued to check constructability.
- To provide an efficient technical issue resolution service for construction
- To ensure the accurate and efficient capture and processing of as-built data
- To validate as built data against design
- To implement discipline construction assurance processes
- To implement Inspection and Test Plans required for the works
- To comply with engineering governance defined by Pod-Trak Network Rail standards and project documentation.
Requirements
- Familiar with OLE Basic Design and experience in OLE installations.
- Knowledge of railway infrastructure work.
- Familiarity with CDM 2015 regulations.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Background in OLE construction assurance.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Problem-Solving, Attention to Detail, and Communication skills
- EngTech/IEng or working towards professional registration.
- Time Management, Adaptability, and working under pressure.
