Engineer – Surveying & Setting Out (Dublin)

About the Role

Pod-Trak is seeking a motivated and skilled Site Engineer to support project delivery across Dublin and Leinster. This role involves surveying, setting out, and providing technical support across a range of infrastructure and civil works.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform setting out and surveying on active construction sites
• Conduct as-built surveys and record accurate dimensional data
• Support project teams with design interpretation and technical coordination
• Ensure construction meets design tolerances and quality requirements
• Maintain daily records and assist with QA and progress reporting
• Promote and maintain a safe and efficient working environment

Requirements

• Experience in surveying and setting out for civil or infrastructure projects
• Proficient with total stations, GPS, and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of civil engineering methods and specifications
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering and Safe Pass certification

Desirable

• Experience in rail, utilities, or telecoms sectors
• Familiarity with Irish survey standards and QA procedures
